Your Opportunity + Impact
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with internal and external design production teams to initiate, develop, and deliver projects according to client specifications and firm standards.
- Partners with the design technology team to create, update, document, and implement company-wide CIM standards, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.
- Performs independent planning and design tasks, reviews the work of team members, and prepares detailed construction documents to ensure project success from concept through completion.
- Applies knowledge of codes, standards, and best practices relevant to complex architectural projects, ensuring compliance and technical accuracy.
- Maintains strong inter-departmental and cross-functional relationships with project team members to promote effective communication and project coordination.
- Conducts thorough final Quality Assurance /Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews of all project deliverables before submission to clients or released for bidding and construction, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Assists project managers in the preparation of technical proposals, scope definitions, and labor hour estimates, contributing to accurate project planning.
- Works closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to communicate project scope, deliverables, and expectations, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to architectural associates and interns, helping them develop technical skills, design intuition, and professional growth.
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor of Architecture (5-year program) or Master of Architecture (6-year program) from a NAAB-accredited institution is required.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in architecture drafting and design.
- Licensure/Certification: Registered Architect (RA) with NCARB certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as an effective member of a project team, with strong leadership skills that promote collaboration and project success.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with proven ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and meet project deadlines.
- Strong understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, and other related software programs
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and other external sources in a professional manner
