As a Senior Technical Manager/Sr. Engineer (PE) at LDG, you will serve as a highly visible technical leader and trusted advisor to clients, guiding projects from concept through completion. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their objectives, communicate innovative and practical technical solutions, and support informed decision-making at every stage of the project lifecycle. Your expertise and leadership will directly contribute to project success, client satisfaction, and the continued strengthening of LDG’s reputation for quality, reliability, and trusted partnership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for clients, building strong relationships through clear, confident communication, responsiveness, and actionable insights.
- Lead and coordinate design activities, QA/QC reviews, budgets, and financial performance of projects ensuring alignment with client expectations, project scope, and regulatory requirements.
- Sign and seal engineering documents, taking ownership of the technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all deliverables.
- Perform independent planning and design tasks, while reviewing and mentoring the work of others, including junior staff, to ensure technical rigor and consistency.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, quality assurance, and technical excellence.
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive engineering experience
- Licensure/Certification: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated success in a client-facing engineering role with proven ability to balance technical excellence with business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or Hydrologic and Hydraulic software packages to be used for Site Layout, Grading, Utility, and Storm Water Management Plan design and/or other discipline-specific programs.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to quality and innovation
